The California Art Club was established in 1909 as one of Los Angeles' earliest cultural organizations in support of local artists. Today, the California Art Club (CAC) is a dynamic nonprofit educational organization with nearly 3,000 members nationwide, consisting of artists, students, arts scholars and patrons of the arts. Through its six outreach Chapters, the CAC is dedicated to expanding the knowledge of traditional and representational fine arts in the fields of painting, drawing and sculpting. The California Art Club provides arts programs, exhibitions and publications that support a thriving network of contemporary-traditional artists and provide opportunities for art enthusiasts to partake with the arts community.
